I haven't had KBBQ in over a year! Damn this meal was satisfying :) Good times with good friends :)

Beautiful BC Spot Prawns

No matter how many times I prepare spot prawns, or any live ingredient, it always freaks me out when they move/twitch/jump out of my hands. The worst is when I've already taken off the heads!

Burger crawl with @foodigatorj @kiki_bff

Even with pouring rain three of us managed to head over to Holy Chuck and The Stockyards for burger week.

Pictures up top are burgers from Holy Chuck, the Depressed Cow and Mad Cow, and the special from The Stockyards.

With the rain coming down and The Stockyards full inside, we decide to cut up the burger in the back of my car. Not sketchy right?

Lunch at Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill Bayview Village

It being my first time going to OBCG for lunch with their new menu, I decided to try out the calamari and duck stir fry.

Both were delicious, and if you get the grilled calamari I would ask your server to get a side of bread as well you'd want to soak up all those great sauces!

That said I was there, on recommendation from the chef, for the stir fry duck. Flavors were spot on, good amount of heat, along with the herbs. Loved every bite :)
