La Carnita - Day 2

Came back to @la_carnita on their second official day, and I have to give them credit, they rocked this service. Many of the 'misses' (wrong sauce on tacos, underseasoning etc) from yesterday's visit were solved and the food was much better today. I think we ordered some of the best items on the menu! Given time, this place will work like a well oiled machine, very glad to see things turn around so quickly.

This time I decided to go with the other half of the menu, and damn these were good. The Mexican Street Corn and the Lime Pie Paletas were by far my favorite. Fish taco aside (best taco on the planet!), the Tostada de Lengua lives up to the La Carnita name, given some time, I'm sure the other ones will be just as good. (Appologies for the photos, kinda sat in a dark hole haha)

You can read reviews from some of the people I went with here, here and here.

Overall, another great night with good friends and food. Definately a place to return to soon :)

ps. my only remaining gripe with them is their 1 artwork per table, with 5000 copies you'd think they would give one-per-person as per their pop-up events. $5 if you want an extra print.
