@la_carnita continues to have some of my favorite dishes in Toronto.
With exception of a brief period, I think I've been here at least once a week! I've lost track of just how many times I've been here.... I just never get bored of the food, drink, and music! Even tho I'm here so often, I still take a picture of everything I eat (I'm Asian, I can't help it lol)
Anyways, here's some of their recent specials...

@sashabogin made a sexually Salted carmel pudding covered in naughty Mexican chocolate cookie crumble, tastes like Werther's Original

@Ninjachefnick featured octopus taco with caponata, on jicama root

Opening night dinner Top Chef winner @ChefHeinrich's @RichmondStation last night w/ @leftbanked.
It's great when everything just works out. I had an alumni event for my alma mater at 1 King West the same night that Richmond Station had their grand opening. Being in the area I thought I'd check it out...
Here's their full menu that plan to serve in the coming week or so. For now you have to order off a limited menu.

...and in typical fashion, I'm one of the last one's in the restaurant
IMHO the dishes were $2-3 over priced, that said, the food was tasty, well executed, and service was wonderful. Will defeinately be back again for the rest of the menu. Keep up the great work!
